The City of Manitou Springs has enacted the single hauler ordinance to change to a single waste and recycle collection service for all single family and multi unit houses up to 7 units (for 8 units and above this will not apply). This change means Bestway Disposal is the designated waste hauler and recycler for Manitou Springs. There are many advantages to a single hauler including: lower cost, less truck traffic on the streets and a single pick up day for all of Manitou Springs!  Additionally, now all residents are able to take advantage of the WayGreen recycling program offered by Bestway.  (See the WayGreen tab for detailed information on the recycle part of this program.) SERVICE OPTIONS AVAILABLE:  You provide waste containers: (trash & recycle are picked up 1 x weekly on Tuesday)       1 Lawn and Leaf (30 gallon) Bag + recycle cart $16.25 per month       2 Lawn and Leaf (30 gallon) Bags + recycle cart $16.75 per month       1 customer provided (30 gallon) Can + recycle cart $17.00 per month       2 customer provided (30 gallon) Cans + recycle cart $17.25 per month   Bestway Provides containers: (trash & recycle are picked up 1 x weekly on Tuesday)       1-32 gallon wheeled trash cart + recycle cart $17.50 per month       1-65 gallon wheeled trash cart + recycle cart $17.75 per month       1-95 gallon wheeled trash cart + recycle cart $18.25 per month   Don't Forget!! Tuesday is the trash and recycle pick up day for this area. Please be sure to place your recycle cart out for pick up every week as it is also a weekly service.
