Do you accept credit cards for payment?

Yes, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Please use the link from our home page to access our secure site for payment.

My business generates a lot of cardboard that we are currently throwing away; is there an alternative to this?

Yes, Bestway Disposal offers cardboard recycling for businesses.

Are there additional costs involved?

Although there are costs associated with container rental, we are able to provide this service at substantially lower cost than trash service, so savings are made possible by decreasing the amount of trash service needed.

Occasionally we like to do a large cleanup at our business; do you have large dumpsters for this type of project or should I just put the extra out by my container?

If there are only a few items, such as a couple bags or can’s worth, it would be alright to place them out by your container; we would only ask that you call us first so that we can inform the driver to let him know to take it. (In some cases there will be an extra charge for these items; call our office for an estimate.) If you were planning to do an extensive cleanup you would need to look into a roll-off container; please go to the front page and click on “roll-off.”

What size containers do you have available for weekly pickup?

There are several sizes. They are as follows: 1, 1.5, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 8 cubic yard containers. Regularly scheduled roll-off containers are available as well.

How often are the containers picked up?

We can pick up as few as 1 time per week, or as many as 6 times per week.

What days of the week do you offer pickups?

Monday through Saturday.

What if I need to get a pickup on Sunday to make it through the weekend?

Although we are not able to offer a pickup on Sunday, we are sure we can find an alternative to handle your needs, possibly an extra container that would be dumped on Monday only. Please call our office and we will be happy to discuss some options.

I like to do business with locally owned companies; is Bestway Disposal going to sell out to one of the large corporate companies?

Bestway Disposal is a well established, locally owned and operated business that has been providing quality service since 1950. There are no intentions of merging with or selling to another company. We are looking forward to many more years of serving the people of Colorado Springs.

I have problems with other people using my dumpster; do you have locking dumpsters?

Yes, we can attach a lock and chain to your container for a nominal fee.

Are there any extra costs for dumping a locking container?

No, your monthly costs will stay the same.

Are there any restrictions to items I may place in the container?

All items that are placed in the container must be compactable. Things like cement, dirt, rocks or large pieces of wood are potentially damaging to our equipment and will need special arrangements for pickup. Also, hazardous materials such as paints (in liquid form), oil, antifreeze and appliances that contain freon such as refrigerators and air conditioning units must be properly disposed of by a licensed hazardous materials removal company.

If there are items that I am not sure are acceptable to be thrown out what should I do?

Call our office and staff will assist you in establishing if the item(s) in question are acceptable, and if not we can suggest some alternatives to dispose of them.
